Objective of the study: The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between learning style and academic achievement in Physics of high school students in Thai Nguyen city, Vietnam.  Research Methodology: For this study, the author used the perceptual learning style preference questionnaire (PLSPQ method) which was developed by Reid (1984) and the performance outcome measures tools of Young et al (2003) to find out the relationship between learning style and academic achievement of high school students in Thai Nguyen city. Research findings: The study showed that all 6 learning styles are the main learning preferences of students. They self-assess their learning results at a fairly good level. In particular, the research also indicated a significant positive correlation between learning performance and students' learning styles. It suggests that teachers of Physics should adopt instructional methods and classroom organization forms suitable to students' learning preferences, thereby helping students enhance their academic achievement.
